Event Marketing
The Lexus Golf Classic is a charity tournament running for more than 20 years in London, Ontario, supporting prostate cancer research at the London Health Sciences Centre. I had the distinct privilege of putting my skills to work for a worthwhile cause and contributing to the success of this event by leading the extensive catalogue of marketing materials required for a tournament of this size and scale. In 2019 alone, we raised more than $70,000, contributing to the cumulative donation of $1.5 million to date.

GOLF
CLASSIC

Though my initial role with the Lexus Golf Classic was limited to content creation for the Live Auction Gala, my strong performance led to me being entrusted with creating all marketing assets for the event. I designed all the printed materials for the event, including invitations, gala guides, and auction signage, and ensured that branding was consistent throughout. To ensure branding and sponsor recognition were featured correctly during the tournament, I also led the development of all physical signage on the golf course itself.

Car-Mercial

As a result of the positive reception I received from my work with the Lexus Golf Classic, I was also commissioned to film content to be used by Car-Mercial in digital marketing campaigns for both Lexus and Toyota. These projects presented an opportunity to showcase my extensive videography skills, capturing high-quality content that felt right at home alongside this big-name automobile brands' upscale, luxury vibes.

"I had the privilege of working with Jake Sinclair on several projects over the last few years. Jake is professional, knowledgeable, and consistently took our vision to the next level. Jake was always fast to respond, brought unique and fresh ideas, and always completed the work on time and within scope.

One of the larger projects Jake took over was the 2019 Lexus of London Golf Classic graphic design portfolio. This was an incredible undertaking with tight deadlines and a significant amount of changes back and forth. This event is a two-day fundraiser supporting Prostate Cancer research and awareness at The London Health Scions Centre. Jake was solely responsible for all creative elements for both the Evening Gala and the Golf Tournament. He created all gala and course signage, produced scorecards, bid sheets, sponsorship signs, and digital media graphics.

One of the more significant items Jake designed was our Gala Evening Program. This comprehensive document for our Gala night included items and descriptions for over 200 auction items, a gala itinerary, and sponsorship acknowledgment. Jake worked tirelessly to complete this program, added unique and creative design elements to draw guests' attention to critical items, and helped drive revenue to our auction items and increase our overall donation.
